Dr. Sabbir Khan is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Department of Biological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali, Punjab, India. He obtained his Ph.D. and M.S. (Pharm.) in Pharmacology and Toxicology from National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Mohali, Punjab, India. He is interested in investigating the role of epigenetic mechanisms, particularly influence of HDACs inhibitors and subsequent histone hyperacetylation in the diabetes, endocrinology, obesity and associated complications as well as fibrosis. He has outstanding records of scientific and academic accomplishments with multiple research funding, numerous publications in peer review journals of international repute and various presentations in both national and international conferences. His work has recognized at national and international platform and won several awards. He is serving as scientific reviewer for several journals of national and international repute.
