Dr Srinivas completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery, from A.B.Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore, India, in 2001. Later on he completed his Masterís in Periodontology, Bapuji Dental College and Hospital, Davangere, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India in 2006. He is also a Fellow of International Congress of Oral Implantology (FICOI). He has worked as senior lecturer, and reader at Department of Periodontics, Kanti Devi Dental College and Hospital, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India. He then worked as senior lecturer, Faculty of Dentistry, SEGi University, Selangor, Malaysia. Currently, he is working as Associate professor, Faculty of Dentistry, SEGi University, Selangor, Malaysia.
His research Interests include progression and staging of aggressive periodontitis, oral tissue engineering, immediate placement of dental implants into fresh extraction sockets, soft tissue allografts for root coverage, use of bone and soft tissue grafts for alveolar ridge augmentation, , and newer modes of nicotine delivery (shisha smoking, e-cigarettes).
