Dr. Arseni Markoff has received his PhD from the Medical University of Sofia in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology.Currently, he is working as a project leader in the Institute of Human Genetics, University of Muenster.He has successfully completed his administrative responsibilities as Assistant Professor. His primary research interests include reproduction genetics with focus on female heritable disorders,i.e. recurrent pregnancy loss and thrombophilia mediated placental obstetric complications. He has received research fellowships of the German Research Community (DFG) and Heinrich Hertz foundation.He has published more than 50 papers in peer-reviewed journals and has authored several book chapters.
