Dr. Yongping Chen was born in Anhui province, China in 1975. He received his B.S. degree in Anhui medical university (1994-1999). He attended the University of Science and Technology of China from 2002-2007 and got his PhD in nano-biological laboratory of the institute of life science. His doctoral research was mainly focused on drug delivery and cancer treatment. After graduation, he served a postdoctoral fellowship in Department of Chemistry and Biomedical Engineering at University of Washington from 2007-2009. From 2009, he moved to Johns Hopkins University as a postdoctoral fellowship focusing on tumor (or inflammation) molecular imaging, drug delivery and contrast agent (nanoparticles). From 2013 till now , I am working (as a manager, senior scientist) in the Washington Biotechnology, Inc.
