Mahmoud F. Elsebai is Associated professor at the faculty of pharmacy, Mansoura university, Egypt, where he has obtained his Bachelor`s, Master’s degrees (Pharmacognosy). He obtained his PhD in 2011 from Bonn University, Germany, in the field of chemistry and biology of marine natural products. During 2012–2014 he worked as postdoctoral fellow in Finland (departments of Biology and Chemistry, Oulu Uni, Finland) and in France. He has a record number of publications from his PhD dissertation (14 publications) in the field of marine drugs. He has also discovered potential and safe drugs against hepatitis C virus which is a worldwide crisis specially in Egypt. These results were applied for patenting and published in Q1 journals, for which he got “Mansoura University Scientific Award” for the year 2015. He has published more than 25 papers in reputed journals and serving as an editorial board member of repute. Dr Elsebai is a Visiting Professor at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences, School of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacognosy, Tanzania. He has and still supervising many Master`s and PhD students in Egypt. Dr Elsebai has delivered many oral talks in international and national conferences and got the best oral presentation in Sweden/2011, granted by "Phytochemical Society of Europe (PSE)".
