I am currently working as an Associated Professor at the Department of Toxicology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Gazi University, Turkey. I have worked in Newcastle Upon Tyne University, Medical School, Pharmacogenetics Department, UK for 6 months in 2004 as a part of PhD Fellowship Programme in Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK). I have received EEMS Young Scientist Award from European Environmental Mutagen Society in 2005. I have worked in 16 national and 2 international scientific projects and still coordinating 2 projects that are supported by The Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey or Gazi University.

Ela Kadıoğlu research intrests are genotoxicity and cytotoxicity tests, oxidative DNA damage and repair and individual tests in population genetic studies.
