Family systems psychotherapist Dr. Laura Salerno completed her PhD at the Department of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Palermo (Palermo) and collaborated to various research projects at the same University. She has been a member of the clinical and scientific staff of the ANDROS Day Surgery Clinic – Psychology Unit in Palermo (Italy) since 2013. Dr. Laura Salerno has published several articles in scientific peer-reviewed journals. Her research and publications involve eating disorders, family therapy, psychological aspects of infertility, psychotherapy research, clinical psychology and structural equation modeling. She is a reviewer for the following journals: Journal of Nursing Education and Practice, International Journal of Physiatry, Annals of Public Health and Research, Journal of Behaviour Therapy and Mental Health. She is a member of various Italian and international association: AIP (Italian Association of Psychology), SPR (Society for Psychotherapy Research - Italy Area Group), ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) and SPR (Society for Psychotherapy Research - International).
