Biography

Dr. David Azanu, AMRSC (UK) Background (degree) Doctor of Philosophy (Analytical Chemistry) Master of Science (Analytical Chemistry) Bachelor of Science (Chemistry). I have been part of highly successful two Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs projects –(DANIDA) and National Science Foundation Project (NSF) sponsored projects.• DANIDA Project- Xenobiotic Substances and Heavy Metals in the Environment – A Threat to Health, Ecosystems and Development (2016 – To date). • DANIDA Project- Safe water for Food (Chemical contaminants in irrigation water) (2012- 2017). • National Science Foundation Project- Research and Education on Buruli Ulcer (2010 - 2012). • Commission on Human Right and Administrative Justices (CHRAJ), Ghana Project on Chemical analysis of water in some selected mining communities in Ghana (January 2007- May 2007).

David Azanu Research Interests: Environmental toxicology- Emerging chemical pollutants in the environment (Pesticides, Antibiotics, hormones etc) Ecological Modelling- Modelling the fate of emerging chemical pollutants in the environment Radio-analytical techniques – Fate of radioactivity element in the environment
