Dr. OS Adeyemi is a life scientist with several teaching and research experience in the university system. Currently, he is a faculty member at the Landmark University, Nigeria. He had BSc (Hons), MSc and PhD degrees in Biochemistry specializing in Medicinal Biochemistry and Toxicology. Dr Adeyemi is an erudite scholar and a passionate academic mentor who also accords significance to impacting lives through public service and outreach. He is always enthusiastic and fervent about the training of his students to become graduate entrepreneurial and innovative thinkers capable of developing the next great idea in order to create opportunities for others. He encourages and supports academic strategies, that could help establish strong reputation for excellence and quality academic mentorship by emphasizing the teaching of students to think rather than to just pass the examinations. Dr. Adeyemi has published books, chapters in book as well as several research articles. Dr. Adeyemi is a recipient of several awards and fellowships and he enjoys the membership of several professional societies such as the American College of Toxicology (ACT) and the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) amongst others. He also reviews for and serves on the editorial board of several national and international journals. For extracurricular activities, Dr. Adeyemi engages in educational and Church outreaches and he likes to play chess game.
