Dr. Dragoljub L. Miladinovic is full professor in Faculty of Medicine, University of Nis, Serbia. He did his B. Chem and M. Chem from Faculty of sciences, University of Nis, Serbia and Ph. D from Faculty of sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. Prof. Miladinovic has delivered a number invited lectures on antibacterial activity of essential oils. He has attended many symposiums and workshops at the national and international level. He has more than 30 research publications in several international and national journals, and he reviewed a number of papers published in leading international journals. Prof. Miladinovic guided M. Pharm students, Ph.D students and he was the mentor of student works, presented at student conferences. He has memberships in the Serbian Chemical Society, the Serbian Medicinal Society and Pharmaceutical Association of Serbia.
Dragoljub L. Miladinovic has an extensive research experience in natural products chemistry: alkaloid chemistry, flavonoid chemistry and terpenoid chemistry. Also, he was studied environmental stress in plants and radical scavengers. In connection with this topic he was researched metals of soil-plant ecosystem. He was studied antimicrobial activity of essential oil, as well as isolation, characterization and application of plant antioxidants.
