Dr. Jain obtained his Ph.D. from St. John’s University, USA in 2013. His research is focused on drug delivery via topical and transdermal route. During his PhD, he developed novel elastic nanoparticles (ethosomes) to enhance the skin permeation of diclofenac through topical delivery. He also developed a multivariate prediction model for ethosome nanoparticles that can be used to enhance skin delivery for variety of drug molecules. His research was highly praised in the pharmaceutical arena and international conferences, and was honored with prestigious NJPHAST award. Dr. Jain also received “Global Life Science Leaders of Tomorrow” award by Catalent Pharmaceuticals in 2013 and Aufau award in 2016. Furthermore, Dr. Jain has also performed outstanding research in area of iontophoresis, solid lipid nanoparticles (SLN), solid dispersion, microemulsion creams and hydrogels. Dr. Jain has 8 publications in prestigious international journals and 1 book chapter. He has served as distinguished editorial board member/ reviewer in more than 10 international journals and was an invited judge in AAPS, Controlled Release Society, and NJPHAST conferences. He has also served as subject matter expert on formulation development challenges for Scientific Advisory Board and Chemical Abstract Service (CAS). Dr. Jain is currently working in G&W Labs, USA as Research Scientist where he develop drug products that provide cost effective and therapeutically superior treatment for various diseases prevalent in the USA and worldwide. As his company’s formulation development lead, Dr. Jain has worked closely with the FDA to develop quality drug products. Currently, he has contributed in bringing 3 drug products in the US market.
