She was born in Split, Croatia. She graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, University of Zagreb. Specialization in Clinical Pharmacy graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. She had been trained at the Texas Heart Institute, Houston, USA. Ph.D. dissertation titled "Pharmacological Antioxidants in the Treatment of Graves' Disease" was defended in 2003 at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, University of Zagreb. In the scientific-teaching position of the assistant professor was elected in 2007 and as the associate professor in 2012 at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, University of Zagreb. She is working in cumulative employment in University Hospital Dubrava as the head of Clinical Pharmacy Departement. She is the president of the Hospital Drug Committee. She is the vice-president of the Croatian Pharmaceutical Society, the president of the Clinical Pharmacy Section and a member of the Executive Board of the Hospital Pharmacy Section. She was the president of the Organizing Committee of the 1st and 2nd Croatian Congress of Clinical Pharmacy with international participation, held in 2014 and 2017, and was a member of scientific and expert committees organized by a series of domestic and international scientific conferences. In 2004 she was elected in "Icons of European Hospital Pharmacy" (European Journal of Hospital Pharmacy 2004,6:34).
