Prof. Prabhakar Reddy Veerareddy is an accomplished researcher, eminent teacher in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Currently he is working as Principal in University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Palamuru University, Mahabubnagar, Telangana State, India. He did his B.Pharm from Kakatiya University, Warangal and M.Pharm from Andhra University, Vizag and Ph.D from Kakatiya University, Warangal. He has spent one year at Butler University, Indiana Polis, USA for his Post Doctoral Research. In addition he has also received his LLB from Kakatiya University, Warangal. Prof. Reddy has delivered more than 50 invited talks on drug delivery systems. He is a visiting professor in Kathmandu University, Nepal. Hehas attended many symposiums and workshops at the national and international level. He has more than 80 research publications in several international and national journals, and he guided 100 M. Pharm students and 7 PhD students. He has extensively travelled to USA, Germany, Switzerland, Rome, Canada, France, Egypt, Dubai, Thailand, China, Nepal, Turkey and Portugal. He has Life memberships in Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Indian Pharmacological Society (IPS), Indian Pharmacy Graduate Association (IPGA), Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), Member in Controlled Release Society (CRS), USA, Member in Indian Controlled Release Society (CRS), India, Member in American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS), USA, Fellow of the Institution of Chemists (India), Member in Board of Studies (Pharmacy), Kakatiya University and General Secretary in Kakatiya University Alumni Association and President for Telangana State branch of APTI.

Prabhakar Reddy Veerareddy Research Interests are an extensive research experience in Nanoparticles, Solid Lipid Nanoparticles, Sublingual Tablets, Fast Disintegrating Tablets, Solid Dispersions, Mouth Dissolving Tablets, Sustained Release, Controlled Release Systems, Transdermal, Colon Specific and Gastro retentive drug delivery systems.
