Mr. Shiv Bahadur has been working as research scholar, School of Natural Product Studies, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. Shiv Bahadur has obtained bachelor (B. Pharm), degree from MJP Rohilkhand University, Barielly, UP and master (M. Pharm) from Goutam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow in 2011. He joined the Jadavpur University, Kolkata as PhD research scholar in 2012. His academic and research career has been outstanding and highlights on traditional medicine inspired drug discovery from Indian medicinal plants to make them available from ‘Farm to Pharma’. He has made several innovative and outstanding contributions in academic and research in the area of natural product studies, Ethnopharmacology and evidence based validation of herbs used in AYUSH, India. He has to his credit above 24 publications in peer reviewed impact journals, and 5 book chapters. His research publications have cumulative Impact Factor of 50; h-Index- 08, i10-index - 06; which has been cited for over 229 times.

Shiv Bahadur Research Interests are Pre-formulation studies & Product development, novel drug delivery system, quality assurance and quality control, quality related safety studies, herb- drug interaction study through drug metabolizing enzymes, Evidence based validation of herbal medicine.
