Robert Taylor Segraves, MD. PhD is a Professor of Psychiatry Emeritus at Case Western Reserve University. His major clinical interest is in the treatment of sexual dysfunction and his major research interest is the effect of pharmacological agents on human sexual function. He served on the committees to review nomenclature of sexual dysfunctions in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders by the American Psychiatric Association for DSM IIIR, DSM IV, DSM IV R, and DSM 5. He is the editor of the Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy and has over 100 peer reviewed manuscripts, 60 chapters in texts, and is the editor or co-editor of six books related to sexual disorders.
Robert Taylor Segraves research interests are concern effects of pharmacological agents on human sexual behavior. His research involves both adverse side effects of drugs as well as prosexual effects of pharmacological agents.
