Dr. Ravindra Kulkarni, awarded doctoral degree from UCPSc, Kakatiya University, Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, India and completed my tenure in National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hyderabad as research associate. The focus of my research is to discover new lead molecules, or compounds with potent kinase inhibitory activity against p38 kinase, JNK-1 and PIM-1 and antimicrobial including TB by following traditional medicinal chemistry approach or ration drug discovery process. To this end, I use computational chemistry approaches (Docking, QSAR and Pharmacophore based) to design new molecules with enhanced activity and submit them for synthesis. Till now I have published 30 papers in various journals.
