Dr. Bhupesh Sharma competed is an Associate Professor in Department of Pharmacology, Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University, Noida, India. He received his M. Pharm. and PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmacology) form Faculty of Medicine, Punjabi University, Patiala, Punjab in 2012. Results of his research work have been generalized in 38 research publications in the journals of high international repute. His broad area of research is CNS and CVS Pharmacological Research. He is working on pharmacological investigations in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, Vascular Dementia, Huntington’s disease, opioid dependence, schizophrenia, psychological stress, endothelial dysfunction, cardio-myopathy, pre- as well as post-conditioning of ischemic heart, arsenic and cadmium neuro as well as cerebrovascular toxicity. His research group is working on the relation of cardiovascular system disorders and metabolic conditions in the development of vascular dementia. His group is also establishing newer experimental models of Autism Spectrum Disorders. At present, he is guiding 12 students for their research work (8 PhD and 4 Masters students).
