Dr. Begüm EVRANOS AKSÖZ received her undergraduate degree in Pharmacy from Ankara University, Turkey. She completed her graduate studies, MSc and Ph.D. from Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Ankara University, Ankara, Turkey. She received her PhD in 2010. She worked as a research assistant at Ankara University Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2002-2007. She worked at Refik Saydam National Public Health Agency, Drug and Cosmetics Laboratories in 2007-2011. She works at Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency since 2011. Her work is mainly focused on MAO-inhibitors, antidepressant drugs, pyrazolines, flavonoids, chalcones, hydrazones, antifungal, antimicrobial and antituberculosis drugs and drug analysis. She has many publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations around the world.
