Dr. Yuankun Zhai received a Ph.D. in College of Life Science in Northwestern Polytechnical University in China in June 2015, and worked as a postdoctoral in University of Louisville in Kentucky during 2016-2017, and then join in the Center for Musculoskeletal Research in University of Rochester from March of 2017. Dr. Zhai has started the bone biology research from 2008 and obtained outstanding academic accomplishments in the bone research field, he already published 38 papers in some good journals and 19 papers as the first author. Meanwhile, he also reviewed 12 papers for Scientific Reports, Cell proliferation, Biomedicine and & pharmacotherapy, and also International Journal of Nanomedicine. His research mainly focusses on the osteoprotective effects of natural products, bone remodeling mechanisms, bone fracture healings and biomaterials for bone engineering.
