Prof. Serap Yalın currently is the Professor of Biochemistry and the head of Biochemistry Department at the Pharmacy Faculty of Mersin University. She received her Ph.D. from the Medical Faculty of Çukurova University. Her scientific interests include: Free radicals, hemolytic anemias, polymorphism, protein chemistry, recombinant antibody production. She is an Associate Editor of Merit Research Journal of Medicine and Medical Sciences and Review Editor of Frontiers in Genomic Assay Technology. She is a member of the Editorial Board in Open Journal of Blood Diseases, World Journal of Rheumatology, World Journal of Diabetes, International Journal of Medical Genetics and Genomics Research, Prime Research on Medicine, International Journal for Biotechnology and Molecular Biology Research, International Journal of Medicine and Medical Sciences. She has European Association of Cancer Research (EACR) Travel Fellowship.
